Here is a how-to guide to ensure your enjoyment of tonight’s second (?) Winnipeg Tumblr Meetup:
1. Shower and get dressed. Simple, yet extremely important.
2. Head over to Moxie’s for 8PM at The MTS Centre. Do not go to any other Moxie’s. We will not be there.
3. Introduce yourself to the gaggle of Tumblrs who will slowly be arriving one by one. Make idle chit-chat :)
4. After a reasonable time of waiting for people, we’re going to try to get a table for however many of us there happens to be. Because right now, nobody really knows :P
(Note: If you arrive after we’ve already been seated, let the host/hostesses know you’re here to meet up with a group of people. They will likely let you walk in and find us. If there is any problem, call or text. 298-9128)
5. Order appetizers and dinner! Be happy, you’re at a Tumblr meetup! :D
6. After dinner, make your way to The King’s Head, located on King Street in the Exchange District.
7. Continue drinking and having fun :)
NOTE: The King’s Head is extremely aggressive about checking ID’s. Make sure you bring both parts of your driver’s license or whatever current photo ID you own. Even if you look like you’re 95, and you don’t have photo ID, they will not let you in!
