Winnipeg Tumblr Meetups

Umm…. yeah. Apparently there’s a meetup happening. AT Polo. In about a week.

…. Here’s my two cents about it.

1. It’s Polo. As my sister said, that’s bland.
2. Be more original than polo. Go to a sweet restaurant or something. Moxie’s the only one I’ll allow if you’re going to polo.
3. Optional watching of a movie? REALLY!?
4. Optional eat?!?!? GEEZUS (See #2)

Sigghhhhhh. Here’s my own version of a meetup that should have happened.

1. Could have been last week, or this weekend, we go to Fringe Fest. Have some laughs. 10 freakin’ dollars.
2. We could meet at The Fyxx first off, if we want coffee or something.
3. After Fringing. We can stroll to King’s Head. Have some good eats/alchy.
4. FREAKIN’ 10 DOLLARS FOR FRINGE.

Christ, why is this so hard? We scheduled a couple meetups already. And they weren’t even on the board. And now. This one is here, and it’s boring because it’s Polo.

I’ll pass. I’m sorry. Next year people. FRINGE. FUCKIN’ FRINGE.

The “Photoshoot”.

Sorry, I didn’t really inform anyone in this blog, but yesterday. A photoshoot occurred and well it was a success. It was conducted by I’d say our resident pro photographer, jayobyrne.

The notable people that showed up were:

• LittleBlueRobot (totally unexpected that she showed up, and it was awesome to see her again)
• HotelCitroen (Ladies, he has clean beds.)
• FlashingLightsPlasticHearts (Paris Hilton of Winnipeg)
• ScurvyLad (Just as I expected. He’s awesome)
• KingDaioh (Awesome!)
• A-Panda-Girl (Also Awesome!) (also, she didn’t really “show up” the meet was actually her house)

And the notable people that showed up at Polo:

• Partack (Even though it’s the second time I saw you. It was the first time I noticed you were actually pretty tall)
• IsabelleKilimnik (Really nice meeting you!)

Now, once again. I haven’t gotten it set in stone yet. But I’m gonna say again, My birthday is February 8th, I proposed another meetup around the week of my birthday (not the same day).

So, just be alert. And we’ll get to have another great meetup.

New developments.

Nothing is written in stone right now. But currently, I’m thinking around the week of my birthday, we should have another meetup.

My birthday is on Feburary 8th. So, make the date. I’ll see if we can make something happen.

Date agreement.

Ok, I think we all need to discuss a date and time we can all meetup.

Brittany suggested sometime around this week or this weekend, we meet up and watch Paranormal Activity and go to King’s Head. Good deal.

We need a more stable date, this could work, if we get a stable date going.

Then we can send it in to tumblr meetups, and get our tumblr swag.

Friday/Saturday, next week? Anyone?
